Coral Rock Retaining Walls
A brief description of the above photograph, is that each piece of coral that you see with a pyramid shaped top, is approximately 1 foot in diameter for foot in height And four foot IN WIDTH.
It is called cut CAP ROCK, and at one time was considered a spoil material not worthy of anything other than using it for FILL,
However now these pieces are a valued because of their aesthetic beauty in combination with the simple fact that they expose what was once the Living Coral, on a Living Reef which is now known as the Florida Keys.
These particular pieces are one-of-a-kind pieces and have become part of three rock gardens on my own personal property.
There are 12 pieces that are similar in nature all of which are for sale, however the weight of these rocks combined with the cost of trucking them brings even the smallest weighing approximately 1200 pounds into the $2500 price range.
I would be more than happy to take close-ups at any angle that you do not see if you are seriously interested in having one shipped. However I do believe you will see enough pictures and angles of the same rock on page 1 and 2 to more than meet your curiosity.
As you view these rocks, please note that these rocks were not taken from a living coral reef, and that there are no rocks whatsoever in this portfolio that have existed as live coral within the last million years...
